this is what its all about

The weather lately has been utterly FABULOUS. I've been feeling in a serious funk lately, and a good ol' dose of sunshine definitely helps the blahs. Miller went back to school today after his 3 week break, and we spent many days at the park and out in the yard. Is it bad to admit that your 10-month old has a tan? (These were taken pre-tan:-)

April in North Carolina is really beautiful. Everything starts to bloom. You can drive around with your windows down and your favorite cd on, pretending you're still a little cool even though you're sporting the minivan. The smell is fantastic... a combination of freshly cut grass and neighbors grilling out. I swear, it is almost therapeutic.

These are from a few days ago when we were playing in the front yard. 80 degrees, bright and sunny, no humidity and a slight breeze. Perfection.
