another visit from the Tooth Fairy

This morning Miller hopped into my bed with a brand new ten-dollar bill. The Tooth Fairy gave him an especially handsome reward for his second top tooth. Apparently, she was very excited that both top teeth were out at once. And she somehow knew that Miller has been eyeing the new $10 bills for a few weeks, and desperately wanted one for his piggy bank. (It didn't hurt that one of the Tooth Fairy's clients paid her in cash last week:-) Wait, upon reading that again, it makes the Tooth Fairy sound a little like a hooker.)

He was SO PROUD. This makes three out of four yanked out by mom. If I left it up to Miller, he would let it go until it turned black and rotted out. He doesn't like pain, and refuses to pull out his teeth on his own. If you look closely in the first picture, you can see the "pulp" still hanging down. That is gone today. These were taken about 10 minutes post tooth-pulling. He wanted to get one with blood dripping out of his mouth, but I had to draw the line somewhere.

Good Lord that is one big gap, lol. Can you believe your first baby has lost his two front teeth?
Ahem, $10? Don't tell Connor but I think the tooth fairy gips Canadian boys.
