another year older

Thursday was my birthday. I'm officially in my mid-thirties. Gulp. I remember my mom when she was my age.

Mark gave me a very snazzy new Pottery Barn filing cabinet for my birthday, and we went out for pizza. My birthday fell in one of my busiest weeks ever... I'd had six sessions the week before and was trying my best to get everyone their proofs, and then had several more sessions last week AND a shoot for a children's clothing company. I still have about 50 emails to return. It was a little nuts, and I felt guilty taking a whole day off. So I took most of the day off instead:-)

Here are some pictures of the boys at the American Tobacco Historic District. There was a Durham Bulls game the same night, and the boys were totally miffed that we weren't spending my birthday watching baseball.


There is nothing hotter than a man in glasses. Seriously. And I know he loves me, because he never wears them and he wore them on my birthday. Just for me:-)
