he steals my heart
On our anniversary morning, with Miller in school and Gray at preschool camp, Mark and I took Everett out for a quick little shoot. I had had bought an adorable little jon-jon for his first birthday that I had yet to do "real" pictures in, and I didn't want him to outgrow it first. I needed Mark's help to be the baby wrangler since he crawls at Mach 5 and I could only imagine what would happen if I ever tried to attempt it on my own.It was about 95 degrees and we only lasted about 30 minutes, but I love some of these. I just adore that little boy. Except when I'm proofing and he turns off the power strip underneath my desk. Then it is a little less adoration, and a little more irritation.
He is almost 14 months, and among his new talents: Doing baby sign language for "more" and "all done," clapping when directed, mimicking a meow, and purposely dropping things so that he can contort his face into a giant "O" and say "UH-OH!" He recently got teeth 5 and 6, and he will probably be walking within a month or so. He has a sparkle in his eyes that lets me know I am SO in for it when he gets older.
You can see the pictures HERE.

How cute is he? Gretchen, he may some Mathison features, but he has your "look." He is certainly mama's boy.
