Oh how I love new toys.

I got a new lens the other day and wanted to take some test shots before trying it out on paying clients. I love it! And can you tell how much Miller loves being my test subject? (But look at those lips!) Even Mark reluctantly let me snap one of him.

I know I've been a little MIA. I'm trying my best not to whine because life could be a whole lot worse (ie, my friend Erica who will be having her basement floor jackhammered due to a massive sewage problem) but DAMN I'm busy. I'm already full-force into the holiday season and it is mid-September. My schedule is full through Christmas except for the people that I will surely, against my better judgment, fit in.

On a positive note, I'm going to San Francisco next month on a girls' weekend! Yes, me, the girl who white-knuckles it the entire time she flies, is going to go on a cross-country journey solo. I am trying to think about all of the cool shopping and food, and not how I'm going to want to vomit and cry when I get on the plane. I feel so very, very sorry for my fellow passengers. I'm always a delightful neighbor on any flight.

Hopefully the photo ops alone will be worth it:-)
