kite flyin'

Mark has been a single parent lately. Okay, not really, but it feels that way. Today he took them to the playground to fly a kite and enjoy the perfect 70 degree day. I was getting ready for a session in Raleigh, and stopped by the playground on my way out of town.

It was one of those perfect fall days, and I wish I could have stayed and played instead of going to work.

On the drive to my session, I called Mark on his cell phone and thanked him for being such a good dad. I only have a few more weeks of this insanity, and hopefully then I can finally take pictures of my own kids again. They've been sadly neglected lately.

HERE are the pictures. They're a testament to why I won't shoot in mid-day sun, but I love them anyway.
