8 going on 18
Yesterday Miller turned 8. Eight is how old I was when I had to start wearing glasses. Let's hope that Mark's good eyesight genes overpowered my nearly blind ones when it came to the kids.We went out to the Eno today so I could try my new lens on people who were not paying me. I'm so glad I did. I got some of my favorite shots of the kids in a long time. I will share more tomorrow. For now, just one of my biggest boy. The kid who is halfway to driving age. The boy who is completely grossed out by the thought of his mom giving him a kiss, but already has a crush on a girl in his class.
Happy birthday, handsome boy. And a big birthday kiss from your completely embarrassing (and non-yelling!) mother.

It seems like just yesterday he was sticking his head up my shirt to check out the sisters. Man, I feel old!
